Description
If you are interested in the apprenticeship described below, please note that your application for this is treated as “An Expression of Interest”. The campus will be in contact with you when they receive your expression of interest to detail the steps towards becoming a fully registered apprentice in this area. Applicants are also advised to note that to be registered as an apprentice, they must have the agreement of a registered employer to sponsor (employ) them for the full duration of the apprenticeship. It is the responsibility of every individual to obtain their own employer. The Cork College of FET and its constituent campuses do not have any responsibility in this regard.
This programme is geared towards applicants who are looking to develop a professional career in accounting. Accounting Technician Apprentices work four days a week with the employer and study one day a week with the college, on a two-year contract.
It is a two year paid apprenticeship which combines ‘on-the-job’ work experience with academic study.
