Description
Overview
Illustration has long been associated with publishing & advertising, but we live in an increasingly image based culture, which offers a new broad scope of opportunities for illustrators.
As a creative discipline, Illustration is often defined by purpose, not media.
An illustrator creates imagery with the intent of conveying a specific meaning and/or message.
On this course we explore traditional and digital illustrative techniques in a creative environment, where students can experiment and develop their image-making and problem-solving skills.
Students build a portfolio showcasing their work, with a view to progressing to the next level, be it higher education or industry.
